Is Ed Sheeran doing a world tour in 2026?
Yes. The LOOP Tour is his sixth concert tour and supports Play, his eighth studio album (released Sept 12, 2025). It opened on Jan 16, 2026 in Auckland and runs in four legs across Oceania, Latin America and North America. Which US dates are still on sale?
Nine US concerts remain, all on sale. Most are stadium shows with the rotating main stage in the middle of the floor; the exception is the two-night stand at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, a roughly 7,000-seat room that is the most intimate stop of the whole tour.

The final leg runs from late November into December:

The first nights in Santiago (Nov 21) and São Paulo (Dec 5) are sold out; the added second nights are on sale. These shows are not listed on our US ticket partner, so buy only from the seller named for each stop.
Why was the Dec 12 Mexico City show cancelled?
The second Mexico City night, originally Dec 12 at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes, was cancelled in an announcement on Sept 7, 2026. It fell on the Virgin of Guadalupe holiday, with the heavy crowds and road closures that come with it. Ticket holders were moved automatically to Dec 11, which is now the final show of the tour. Some older listings (including Wikipedia at the time of writing) still show Dec 12, so treat any Dec 12 listing with caution. Full details are on our Mexico City guide.
Mexico City tickets are nominative: the name on the ticket must match your ID at the door. That makes unofficial resale for this show especially risky.
Will Ed Sheeran be touring in 2027?
Nothing has been announced. As of Sept 23, 2026 there are no 2027 dates on edsheeran.com, Ticketmaster or any other official channel. A UK and European stadium leg is widely speculated because the LOOP Tour skipped stadiums there, but that is guesswork, not a schedule. What time do the shows start, and how long are they?
US stadium nights are listed from 5:30 PM (doors and early entry), while Foxborough and Hollywood, Florida are listed at 8:00 PM. Ed’s own set runs about two hours and roughly 28 songs, solo with guitar and loop pedal. Opening acts for the remaining US dates changed in September 2026 and none had been confirmed as of Sept 23 - check your ticket or app for timings. No. The LOOP Tour has no UK or European stadium dates. His most recent UK shows were a short arena run in December 2025 (Coventry and Manchester, plus Paris, Munich and Dublin).
