Why is it called the LOOP Tour?

The name points straight at the show’s centrepiece: the loop pedal. Ed builds most songs live, layering guitar, percussion and harmonies one pass at a time until one man sounds like a band. After the Subtract Tour of 2023, where he played with a band, and the giant Mathematics production, the LOOP Tour goes back to that solo format - just Ed, an acoustic guitar and the pedal, on a rotating stage in the middle of the stadium.

What album is the LOOP Tour promoting?

Play, Ed’s eighth studio album, released on September 12, 2025. It is described as the first record of a new multi-album “Stereo” era, following the five symbol albums that ended with − in 2023. Before the stadiums, Ed warmed up with a five-date Play arena run in Europe in December 2025: Paris (Zénith), Munich, Coventry, Manchester (Co-op Live) and Dublin (3Arena).

What are the LOOP Tour legs and dates?

The tour was announced in pieces: Oceania on July 22, 2025 (11 dates, later 15, then 17), North America on September 18, 2025, the first Latin America leg in October 2025, and a second Latin America leg in April 2026.

• Oceania (Jan–Mar 2026) - played. 17 stadium shows across Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide, promoted by Frontier Touring.
• Latin America I (May 2026) - played. Santo Domingo, San Juan, Bogotá, Lima, Quito, Guatemala City and San José.
• North America (Jun 13 – Nov 7, 2026) - in progress. Opened at State Farm Stadium in Glendale; already played Nashville, Chicago’s Soldier Field, Denver, Las Vegas, SoFi, Seattle, three nights in Toronto, Detroit, two at MetLife and Philadelphia, among others. Promoted by AEG Presents / Messina Touring Group.
• Latin America II (Nov 21 – Dec 11, 2026) - upcoming. Santiago, Asunción, Buenos Aires, São Paulo and the Mexico City finale.

Which LOOP Tour dates are left?

Here is every remaining night. US shows link straight to that night’s seat map on TicketNetwork; Latin American shows link to our city guide, because those tickets are sold only by local official sellers.

For the US, the official primary seller is Ticketmaster for most dates and SeatGeek for Arlington. TicketNetwork is a resale marketplace, so prices there can sit above face value - though this autumn US resale has been soft. See ticket prices for the detail.

How successful has the LOOP Tour been?

Full box-office figures are not published yet. The only confirmed data covers the first leg: the 17 Oceania shows sold 754,050 tickets and grossed about $98.6 million, all sold out. The Latin America picture is also strong: the first nights in Santiago and São Paulo are sold out, and both cities have a second night on sale.

US demand has been softer. Rolling Stone and others reported thousands of unsold stadium seats this autumn, with the cheapest resale seats around the $56–65 mark including fees. For fans, that is good news: it is one of the cheapest moments to see Ed in a US stadium in years. Our cheap tickets page explains how to use it.

Why was the December 12 Mexico City show cancelled?

A second Mexico City night on December 12 was cancelled (announced September 7, 2026). The date clashed with the Virgin of Guadalupe holiday and the road closures around it. Ticket holders are moved automatically to December 11, which is now the tour’s final show. Mexico City tickets are sold only by Funticket and are nominative, so bring ID - details on our Mexico City guide.

Is the LOOP Tour coming to the UK or Europe?

Not in 2026. The LOOP Tour skipped UK and European stadiums, apart from the December 2025 Play arena warm-ups. Nothing has been announced for 2027. A UK/Europe stadium leg is widely rumoured, because Ed’s previous cycles ended with a home leg, but that is speculation until official dates appear. Follow our 2027 tour page for updates.

What is the LOOP Tour show like?

About two hours and roughly 28 songs, mostly solo with the loop pedal, on a 360°-style rotating main stage with a small B-stage out in the crowd where fans can text in song requests.
