Best Seats for Ed Sheeran’s LOOP Tour

How is the LOOP Tour stage set up?
For stadiums, the LOOP Tour uses a 360°, in-the-round-style rotating main stage in the middle of the floor - reviewers have compared the look to U2’s 360 tour - plus a small circular B-stage out among the audience. It is a solo show: Ed, an acoustic guitar and a loop pedal for most of the night, with less visual spectacle than the Mathematics Tour. That means the stage is small and the man on it is the whole show, so closeness matters more than angle.
Where should I sit at an Ed Sheeran concert?
| Area | View | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Floor, near the main stage | Closest to Ed; rotating stage means he faces you regularly | Superfans who want to be close |
| Lower bowl, long side | Raised view over the floor crowd, clear sightline to both stages | Best all-round balance |
| Lower bowl near the B-stage | Near-front-row for the B-stage part of the set | Value hunters who want a close moment |
| Upper level | Full view of the stage and crowd; far away, so screens help | Budget buyers; big-singalong atmosphere |
Are floor seats worth it on a 360° stage?
If being close is what you want, yes: floor seats near the main stage are the closest you can get. The trade-offs are the usual ones: a flat floor means the people in front block more of the view, and on the floor far from the stage you can end up with a worse view than a lower-bowl seat. If you are shorter or prefer to sit, lower bowl is often the smarter buy.
Why sit near the B-stage?
On a typical night (Glendale, Jun 13), Ed moves to the B-stage for the fan-request slot - where fans text in suggestions such as Lego House, Tenerife Sea, Supermarket Flowers or Give Me Love - and later for an acoustic medley and some of the big ballads. Sets vary, but seats near the B-stage get a close-up section of the show that the rest of the stadium sees on screens. Its exact position can vary by venue, so check your seat map. See the typical setlist.

Are upper-level seats any good?
Better than on most stadium tours. With the stage in the centre there are no restricted views behind the stage, and the rotation brings Ed round to every side. You will be far away, so screens and binoculars help, but the stadium-wide singalongs (Perfect, Thinking Out Loud, Shape of You) are arguably best seen from up high. General stadium seat tips
- Lower rows in upper sections are often better value than the back of a lower section.
- Aisle seats make trips for food and restrooms easier on a long night.
- Roofed or domed venues - Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium and AT&T Stadium can close their roofs - take weather out of the equation. At open stadiums (Gillette, Bank of America, Raymond James) plan for the weather.
- Check the seat map on your specific night, since layouts can vary between stadiums.
Where should I sit at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida?
Hard Rock Live is a different kind of show: an indoor room of about 7,000, not a stadium, and the two nights (Oct 29 and 30) are the most intimate of the tour. Almost every seat is closer to the stage than the stadium floor, so the main question is budget. Face value starts at $185. More in our Hollywood, FL guide.
Which LOOP Tour venue has the best seats?
For closeness, nothing beats the two Hard Rock Live nights. Among the stadiums, the in-the-round stage makes the experience similar everywhere; the bigger differences are weather and travel. If you want a roof over your head in October, look at Atlanta, Indianapolis or Arlington. If you want the last US show, it is Tampa on Nov 7. The Latin American stadiums sell through local sellers with their own seat categories, so check each seller’s map via our city guides.

Fewer than usual. The main stage rotates in the centre of the floor, so there are no behind-the-stage seats. Upper-level seats are far away but still see the whole stage.
What is the B-stage?
A small circular stage out in the crowd, used on a typical night for the fan-request slot and an acoustic medley.
Are floor seats worth it for Ed Sheeran?
If you want to be close, yes. But the floor is flat, so a lower-bowl seat can give a better view than floor seats far from the stage.
